Security Office
The Campus Security Office is located in the basement of the library building, adjacent to Central Receiving. Our current office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. 24 Hour Security Dispatch is available by calling 250.807.9236.
Security Dispatch Office
Security Dispatchers are on duty 24 hours per day. Call 250.807.9236 or visit the Security Dispatch office in the Administration building for security information or to report an incident.
UTV for Fire Protection
Campus Security now has a designated Ultra-Terrain Vehicle (UTV) to assist with fire protection in the more rugged areas of the campus. Security personnel recently completed mandatory training in the safe and effective use of this equipment.
Security Bike Patrol
Campus Security has introduced bicycle patrols as a way to significantly increase their patrol range, access the more isolated areas of the campus, to increase response time to incidents, and to be more accessible to the campus community.
