SALTO ADMIN OFFICE HOURS
MON, WED & FRIDAYS, 10am – 12noon only.
If someone requires personal assistance outside of these hours, they can email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment. Staff are asked to continue submitting their Salto Access Requests online through the Faculty & Staff website.
They will receive email confirmation once their request has been processed and will be able to pick up keys during the above office hours.
Keys and Locks
Routine maintenance of locks and lock cores is the responsibility of Campus Security. These services are provided without charge. Specific or specialized security needs are met by providing combination locks, alarm devices, card access locks, and other advanced locking devices. These categories of service are charged to the user department.
Capital/project accounts will be charged for locks installed, removed or re-keyed as part of capital funded alterations projects. These include space relocation, renovation or construction.
A replacement key required as a result of lost, stolen or broken key, will be charged to the user. Information on fees can be obtained from the Security Office at 250-807-9443, or 79443. Salto keys that are no longer needed, can be dropped off at either the Library Book Bin, located to the right of the main Library entrance, or the Campus Security Office, located in the basement of the library building, outside entrance is next to the shipping/receiving driveway.
Employees needing keys are required to complete a Salto Access Request Form for each key. Requests are to be approved by the Department Head or delegate and forwarded to Campus Security for processing.
